In June of 2009, I posted this blog about a prophecy by Kim Clement in which he forecasted a summer filled with judgment. Of course, nothing close happened. Now we can sit and wait for Kim to publically repent for giving a false prophecy or we can ask once why anyone keeps following this man?
The following is from a Charisma newsletter
The Manifestation of the Sons of God

Editor’s Note: The following prophetic word is part of a longer message given by Kim Clement at The Master’s Touch International Church (tmtic.com) in Longwood, Florida, on June 6, 2009. It was transcribed from a recording of that Saturday evening service.
Kim Clement: Some have said, "Summer is going to be filled with judgment." God says, "Though there be earthquakes, though there be hurricanes, I will turn them into signs. I will turn them into signs of wonderment, signs of experience, where people say, ‘Why did the people not die? Why were there so few lives not taken?’
"They will say, ‘Is this truly judgment, or is the earth beginning to sound, is the earth beginning to rebel, is the earth beginning to say, "We want the manifestation of the glory of God; we want the manifestation of God’s sons on the earth"’? "
That’s what it is. This is what it is," says the Spirit of God.
The Spirit of God says, "Draw near to Me because there will be things that will take place that will be completely different." When Paul was in the prison … at the midnight hour, the voice of God was heard through the sound of the praises of Paul and Silas, [and] light came into that place.
And God said, "There is going to be a shaking during the summer, but the shaking shall be a sign that the earth is awaiting the manifestation of God’s sons and daughters. For there shall be a glory that shall come forth with unusual signs, unusual miracles, unusual manifestations—that shall come as a result of this shout that is coming from the earth," says the Spirit of the living God. "
Even though the earth shall shake, and even though the heavens may rumble, and even though the winds may blow and hurricanes may come," God said, "It shall be a sign that I am coming to this country like a mighty, rushing wind, about to raise you up and give you one sound, with one voice," says the Lord.
[America] is going to shake with the power of the living God.
The first and most obvious question one must ask is why is Charisma publishing anything Kim Clement says? On one page Lee Grady says in an editorial that we need to clean up the charismatic mess and on the next page we have Kim Clement?
There are two possible explanations – neither of which is good. The first is that Stephen Strang is in deception and actually believes that Clement is really a prophet. The second is money – itching ears want to hear this kind of drivel and so it is published.
The second question or rather observation is concerning the “Manifest Sons of God” doctrine. The bible clearly states in:
3:1 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.
The only universal church spoken of in the bible is headed up by the false prophet in the book of Revelation. Anyone who reads the bible knows that the true Church of Jesus Christ will face growing persecution and hardships before the Tribulation begins.
Paul goes on to tell us:
4:1 I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 5 As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
People want to hear that there will be some great big revival but not a revival of repentance leading to salvation – what they want is signs and wonders, falling on the floor and having goose bumps. Yet Paul tells us to be “sober-minded” not drunk. He tells us to endure suffering not be blissed out in a drunken stupor.
Judgment will come – but to the false prophets and those who financially support them. Charisma – you should be ashamed of yourselves.
